Eagle County Planning Hearings
How to Use This Tool: This site allows constituents to provide live public comment during a public hearing from the comfort and safety of your home. There may be circumstances where time will not allow for all those who sign up to speak. In that event, Eagle County staff will be in touch with information on the next opportunity for public comment and how to participate.Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see where you are on the list once you sign up. Given the large number of constituents who wish to provide public comment, statements are limited to 3 minutes per person. Limiting statements to 3 minutes encourages constituents to be focused and direct, and permits more people to testify. If you wish to provide more lengthy comments, you may do so in writing via email, or a written form or recorded video. We encourage written comments to be sent by 12pm the day of the hearing, to allow time for elected and appointed officials to review the submission prior to the hearing.

The proposed development at the old B&B Gravel Pit in Edwards is the densest development ever proposed in Edwards
THIS WILL ALL BE BUILD ON 22 ACRES PLUS 31 ACRES OF FLOOD PLAIN AND WETLANDS.
*594 residential units plus 92 hotel "lockoff " rooms.
*100 of the units are rental apartments that will be permanently deed restricted to low income qualified residents. The deed restricted units will all front on highway six and only be set back 25' back from the highway. The density for this portion would be about 20 units per acre. Don't our employees deserve better?
In addition the hotel will have 92 lock off bedrooms that can be rented separately. The hotel is projected by the developer to generate about 132,000 guest nights in Edwards, contain convention and meeting space and a spa.
THAT WORKS OUT TO ABOUT 2,043,700 CARS PER YEAR, MOST OF THEM GOING THOUGH THE EDWARDS ROUNDABOUT
A new roundabout would be built at Lake Creek Road which would serve as the entrance to this project. Edwards drivers can look forward to another summer of traffic delays and road work.
While ampitheaters' are typically ground level, this amphitheater would be on raised piers and a wedding/event center with amplified music and allowed to operate until 11:30 pm
The developer of River park owns a large parcel to the north of this project between the Eagle River and I-70 that he has mapped out as "future development". The only apparent access wold be to build a road across the flood plain and the river. this could multiply the impacts on Edwards.
Once you sign, you will get email updates on important meetings to attend and if you cannot attend you will be given email addresses to have your comments entered into the official record of the meeting.
